Course Description: The Advanced Recreation Management Course provides breadth and depth to the CRD core areas and is instrumental in leading people, managing change, and thinking strategically. This course is designed to explore and strengthen leadership and management skills necessary to lead the Community Recreation (CR) Division. Major topics include customer service, trends, leveraging resources, innovation, strategic thinking, and change management. Students will examine their own leadership styles and personal experiences to ensure understanding of the full spectrum of the Community Recreation Division.
Target Audience: Program Managers within the Community Recreation (CR) and Business Operations (BO) Divisions.
