Course Description: The NAF Support Services Division Chief has a crucial role in leading and managing the complex and diverse programs in the Support Services Division to achieve results consistent with Army standards and garrison needs. In today’s fast-paced business environment, Division Chiefs need a broad perspective, vision, and acute awareness of the trends and developments shaping their organization. This two (2) week course is designed to provide students with the critical skills needed to enhance future success while impacting bottom-line results. Major topics include financial management, marketing, leveraging resources, human resource management, property management, organizational awareness, information management and Army initiatives. Students will examine their own leadership styles and organizations to ensure knowledge is applied to real-life challenges. COURSE GOAL: This course is designed to explore the complexity of an evolving Family and MWR environment and advance the skills required to manage and lead an agile and resilient organization that is ready to meet challenges and maximize opportunities in order to best serve Soldiers and Families.

- Prerequisites: Family and MWR Orientation Course (Online), Family and MWR Basic Management Course(Online), Operation Excellence – Online or Classroom Customer Service Training, Applied Financial Planning Suite (Online) (Income Statement Analysis; Breakeven Analysis; Retail Sales Accountability;Forecasting); Family and MWR Budgeting in the NAF System (Online); Family and MWR Budgeting and APF Support (Online) and Introduction to the Family and MWR Delivery System (Online) are required prior to being selected.
